I had definitely planned on attending my fav local blogger's book unveiling because I'm so intrigued about your book and can't wait to read it.
Unfortunately, that's ELECTION NIGHT! What was Rainy Day thinking?! I'll have to take a rain check (pun intended) but wishing you the best and knowing you'll get it!
And does your doggie have some Australian cattle dog in him? Too adorable!

Yep! Australian cattle dog. I think that's where the mean streak comes from. Good catch!
Screw the election. I'll vote early. I wouldn't miss this for the world and considering that less than half of the people vote in this town, it probably won't make a dent.
We have an Aussie Cattle Dog. I prefer to think "stubborn" rather than mean. :) Seriously though, she's a stray (but full bred) we rescued. She had advanced heart worm that nearly killed her. (and us financially! She was diagnosed the day the KC School District cut the locks at Westport charter) Thankfully, she's fine now but probably more mellow and sweet than most due to the disease. But she still loves to chase things. Normally it's squirrels and a chipmunk but today there were actually some geese at the Little Blue Trace parkway for her to terrorize, I mean chase. So she's flopped out on the bed snoozing. Love the dog pictures. Keep 'em coming!
