seriously?

Is this true:
In Kansas City - Installation of bathtubs with four legs resembling animal paws is prohibited.

re: the first one, i can find out from my dad's friend, whose a fire department mother:

and as to the second one, i know that in the 50s, bars, especially german-american ones (as we would call them today) sold beer in little pails. my mother tells the story of how they would go down to some corner and pick it up to carry home to perhaps a grandfather, definitely germans. i don't think the kids drank any of it. so, i guess it's like our current open container bans.
